Frozen Banana Popsicles

What You Need

3 Bananas

6 Popsicles Sticks/Wooden Skewers

1 bag Large Chocolate Buttons

Kinder Bars

Handful Crushed Peanuts (optional)

1.  Peel and chop the bananas in half

2. Thread the bananas onto the popsicles sticks

3.   Add the bananas to a flat surface (baking tray or plate) and put in the freezer for a few hours – we left them overnight

4. Add the chocolate buttons to a large saucepan and put on a low heat until melted

5. Repeat this process with the kinder bars, in a small saucepan

6. Take the bananas out the freezer and place on a wire rack

7.  One by one dip the bananas in chocolate and return to the wire rack. Please note the chocolate will dry quickly as the bananas are frozen so make sure to cover them quickly

7. Drizzle over the kinder chocolate and peanuts

8. Store them in the freezer until ready to eat

9. Enjoy!

These are perfect alternative to ice cream. The creaminess of the bananas work perfectly with the crunchy chocolate.

We used peanuts and kinder chocolate but you can personalise them to your taste.

Additional add ons:

  • Nuts & Seeds
  • Dried fruit
  • Crushed Frozen Berries
